Monteverdi’s four part mass will be sung during services of Holy Communion at two Cotswold churches, St Peter’s Leckhampton (Sunday 24 October, 18:00) and Turkdean Parish Church (Sunday 5 December, 18:00). Monteverdi’s unaccompanied four-part Mass (SV190) is a renaissance masterpiece of outstanding beauty and serenity. The choir will be Cantabile, which comprises members of the Cantores Chamber Choir and friends. Tickets are free but for Turkdean you will need to book here or telephone 01451 860222 as numbers are limited. There will be a retiring collection in aid of the church.
